VULVECTOMY is one of Italy’s most uncompromising forces in slamming brutal death metal. Formed in 2007 by Diego Fanelli, the band quickly carved out a name with an ultra-heavy, no-compromise sound inspired by genre pillars like Devourment and Cephalotripsy. Following early releases and their debut full-length “Putrescent Clitoral Fermentation” (2008), they continued their assault with “Post Abortion Slut Fuck” (2010) and “Abusing Dismembered Beauties” (2013), while performing across Europe and the United States at major underground festivals.

After a hiatus, the band returned stronger with a renewed lineup, solidifying their presence in the modern slam scene. In 2025, VULVECTOMY released their fourth album “Aberrant Vaginal Gestation” via Comatose Music, marking a new chapter in their evolution while staying true to their signature brutal sound.
